Pics
Okay, so I forgot my camera...well lost it actually. I had to borrow Mary's everytime I wanted to take a picture. Then I had to change it to my card...it was a little annoying...so I don't have very many pictures. They aren't that great either...cept the ones of Lucas. Poor Lance, didn't take any of him...whoops. Anyway...probably won't leave this post up very long since it takes up so much space. Love you all...and miss you lots!!!

Me again...
Here I am in the business room again. We have had such a good time here. Survived the hike yesterday... fun with the fam. Today we drove to Oswego, NY and saw Lake Ontario. It was so pretty. We also went to the fort in Oswego...pretty neat...pretty boring. Weird...I miss Tennessee...that is one of the good things about vacation. I love being excited about going home. I have not purchased one souvenir thus far...don't think I will have another opportunity to before I leave. Oh well, it is not that important and I don't mind hanging onto my money. :) We are leaving in the morning for Ben's house...the highlight of the trip.

Still in New York...
Hello all! I am sneaking into the business room at the Embassy Suites. The internet in our suite is horrible. We are having a great time here...just hanging out...being spontaneous. We are supposedly going on a hike today...hope I survive!! We are leaving here on Thursday to go see the two cutest little boys ever...Lucas and Lance Qualls. I am most excited about that...can barely wait!! By the way, getting rid of the other blog...I hate it. Can't post pictures. I hope you all are well. Until next time...

In New York...
Hello all! Sorry its been so long since my last post…not that you really care…but I like to think that you do. Since I last wrote, I have been in 2 weddings and now I am in upstate New York for family vacation.
Thank you everyone for praying for the weddings…I didn’t fall, trip, or do anything to distract from the bride’s spotlight. Rachel’s wedding had to be the most beautiful I have been to…just elegant! Alicia’s wedding was a little more relaxed, but just so precious. She and Chris grew up together and that made the wedding so sweet. The Lord has been so good to them and I must say they are perfect for each other. I admire both of them so much.
Yesterday, my family picked me up in Columbus and we drove to Syracuse, NY. We will be here till Thursday. For all of you who I told we would be in a cabin…I was way off…don’t know why I am always left out of the loop in family stuff. We are in a very nice hotel…it is beautiful. I do not really know what our plans are for the week, but I don’t really care…I am just excited about being away for awhile. Well, until next time...

Psalm 46:1,10,11
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge."
It is a hard time here...yesterday, one of our precious young men went home to be with the Lord, Lee Waller. Lee was travelling with the New Testament Church Pioneers when he was killed in a car accident. He had an outstanding testimony and loved the Lord so much. He had a great burden for his girlfriend's (Jessica Hamilton) family. They need to be saved. Please pray that the Lord will use this in their lives so that they may come to know Him. It is hard to understand why things like this may happen, but we know that God has a perfect plan in it all.

Big Date!!!
Well...I have a big date tonight!! We are going to watch Pride and Prejudice (5 hour version)...yep, its me, my mop, vacuum, dusting rag...etc. You guessed it, I have to clean my house. Especially before my sister and Cathy return on Saturday. They would just die if they saw what it looks like right now. Hopefully I will finish cleaning before the 5 hour movie is over...I want to give my self a pedicure as well. :)
Camp went so well this week. Thank you for praying for it. All of my kids had so much fun and they have all mentioned something to me that the Lord did in their heart this week. It is so neat to think about what God can do with their lives. Two of the girls from camp are going with me on bus visitation tomorrow, this is a huge answer to prayer cause I didn't have a partner. It should be great fun!
I guess this is all for now...hope everyone is well.

All Alone
Here I am...all by myself. Cathy is still at home and Mary is in England. Sometimes it is good to be alone, but I am ready for some company!
This is the first week of camp at Mount Moriah. Our Temple teens are there as well as the teens who ride the Sunday school buses. The kids are having such a good time! I have been going out for the evening services. I have been so impressed with the camp staff this year. They just seem to have it together.
I just realized that Rachel's wedding is next week!! So much for looking good in that dress!!:) I am excited about the wedding though. It is going to be a lot of fun.
Not much going on at all...sorry so boring...just my life right now...
Oh...don't be afraid when you read any comments by "Beasty." She happens to be a friend...not a scary stalker person...though the name fits her quite well...just kidding:)

Happy Birthday to Me!!
So...today I turned 25 years old. This is just a bit depressing. I got a text from a friend this morning that started out, "One score and five years ago..." Aaggghh...I don't want to get old. I have been thinking about how I can never have my early twenties back again. People can no longer say..."she's in her early twenties." Now they have to say..."she is in her mid to late twenties." That is pretty sad, but it is life.
I am thankful that the Lord has blessed me so much. He has given me a wonderful Christian family and better friends than I could ever ask for.
Psalm 16:11
"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

Finally Home!
Well...I finally made it home late last night. I thought I would never get here! It took longer than ever. I left to get Mamaw at about 5:10pm and arrived in Cincinnati close to 11:00 pm. I am just so glad I had a CD player. The one in my car is broken so I just went to Walmart and bought a cheap personal CD player with some speakers. It definately helped make it a pleasant trip...I sang at the top of my lungs the entire trip. :) Mamaw did very well...she would just sit there and insert a comment every few minutes. Comments like, wow, those girls can't sing at all, can they?? Made me laugh quite a bit.
It is so good to be home. Chester (the family dog of 13 years) is doing great. He was so excited to me...once he realized it was me. He is seriously blind and had to get right up to me. Very sad. We are planning to go to a Japenese restaurant, Soho, today for my birthday. Japenese Hibatchi is my absolute favorite.I am going to practice my swing in the back yard. I am learning how to golf. I borrowed some older clubs from a friend and Cathleen and I have been going to to driving range on Tuesdays. I told my dad I wanted to practice at home and he said...oh, I bought some clubs for you mother for Christmas...who knew?!? So, I am going to take them home with me. Mom still hasn't used them.
My mom just told me yesterday that we (her and I) are going to sing at the mother daughter banquet on Saturday. Funny how things like this always happen in my life. We still don't know what we are going to sing and probably won't until an hour before the banquet starts.
Well...until next time...see ya.
